The second greatest commandment given by Jesus is to "love your neighbor as yourself". First Assembly does just that by giving food, clothing and other items to help needy individuals and families. Every year, food baskets and toys are made available at Thanksgiving and Christmas for those facing financial needs. During summer, services are held at the local parks, with clothes given to those in need. This is a ministry open to all and we encourage people from the community to participate as well as those within our own congregation.
